THE Choco Mucho Flying Titans have added Aduke Ogunsanya and Thang Ponce to their lineup for the upcoming season of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

Choco Mucho made the announcement on Friday as they welcomed middle blocker Ogunsanya and libero Ponce through their social media pages.

“Welcome home, Aduke Ogunsanya! No doubt she has exceptional talent which led her to win multiple UAAP & PSL championships. Aduke’s experience will definitely help the Flying Titans succeed,” wrote Choco Mucho.

“With Thang’s impressive skills on the court, get ready for exciting rallies! (Denden Lazaro) Revilla and Thang as your Liberos? ‘Walang lalapag na bola (No ball is going to drop on the floor)! Team Titans, let’s all welcome the newest addition to our family, Choco Mucho Flying Titans Libero, Thang Ponce.”

Ogunsanya last played for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Champions League.

The 25-year-old’s signing with Choco Mucho means that she has turned professional and foregone her final year with the De La Salle University (DLSU) Lady Spikers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

Despite playing in the PNVF Champions League last year, Ogunsaya got to keep her collegiate eligibility since it was a federation organized tournament.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Ponce last played for the Perlas Spikers who finished fourth in PVL’s Open Conference last year.

The libero from Bataan had to leave Perlas as the team took a leave of absence for this upcoming season.
